Ice cubes are very small, thin, or melt quickly in the bin.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before touching the evaporator plate.

Steps to correct small or weak ice:

• Adjust ice size: If your Galanz model allows, select a larger ice size setting and run several cycles.
• Clean evaporator: With the unit unplugged, gently wipe the evaporator plate with a soft cloth and warm water to remove mineral film. Do not scratch the surface.
• Check water quality: Use clean, filtered water. Very soft or distilled water can sometimes affect cube formation.
• Sensor check: If ice remains small, the evaporator temperature sensor may be misreading. Inspect its attachment and replace if necessary.
