Control panel buttons are unresponsive or respond intermittently.

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.

• Step 1 – Power reset: Unplug the unit for 5 minutes, then restore power to see if the controls recover.
• Step 2 – Inspect control panel: Remove the UI panel and check for moisture, corrosion, or damage.
• Step 3 – Reseat ribbon cable: Disconnect and reconnect the cable between the UI and main board.
• Step 4 – Replace UI: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the user interface assembly.
• Step 5 – Replace control board: If a new UI does not resolve the issue, the main control board may be defective.
