Possible Causes
Unit not level, Loose leveling legs, Compressor touching cabinet, Refrigerant lines contacting panels
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Be cautious when moving the unit; avoid tipping excessively.
- Level the unit: Use a bubble level on top of the ice maker. Adjust the front and rear leveling legs until the unit is level side-to-side and front-to-back.
- Check clearances: Ensure the sides and back are not pressed tightly against cabinets or walls.
- Inspect compressor mounts: Remove the rear panel and verify the compressor mounting grommets are intact and the compressor is not touching the cabinet.
- Isolate tubing: Gently bend any refrigerant lines that are vibrating against metal panels, being careful not to kink them.
