How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the control panel area.
Restoring control panel function:
- Dry the panel: Wipe the control panel dry and allow the unit to sit unplugged for several hours if it was exposed to moisture.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the top or front cover to access the control panel ribbon cable. Ensure it is fully inserted into the main board connector.
- Check for damage: Look for cracks or wear on the keypad membrane. If damaged, replace the control panel assembly.
