Possible Causes
Empty water reservoir, misreading water level sensor, reservoir not seated correctly, scaled or dirty water level probes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: This is a low-risk condition; you can service with the unit unplugged for cleaning.
How to clear ADD / ADD WATER:
- Refill reservoir: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir to the indicated MAX line using clean, potable water.
- Check reservoir seating: Ensure any removable reservoir tank is fully seated and locked into place so the sensor can read correctly.
- Clean level probes: If your Gevi model uses metal probes in the reservoir, unplug the unit and gently clean the probes with a soft cloth and vinegar solution to remove mineral deposits.
- Reset the unit: After refilling and cleaning, unplug for 1–2 minutes, then plug back in and start a new cycle.
- Inspect float (if equipped): For float-based systems, verify the float moves freely and is not stuck at the low position.
