Safety: Unplug the unit before reaching near internal sensors or moving parts.
Steps to clear ICE FULL:
- Empty the ice basket: Remove all ice and check for clumps or bridges of ice stuck under the sensor area.
- Break up clumps: If ice has fused together, break it apart and discard overly large chunks that may block the sensor.
- Clean sensor windows: Locate the ice level sensor (usually near the top of the bin). Wipe the sensor windows with a soft, damp cloth to remove frost or residue.
- Check sensor bracket: Ensure the sensor housing is not bent or loose. Gently reposition if needed so it points correctly at the opposite side or at the bin area.
- Restart the unit: Plug back in and run a cycle with an empty bin. If 'ICE FULL' appears immediately, the sensor may be defective and require replacement.
