• Check water distributor alignment: Ensure the water distribution tube or tray is properly seated over the evaporator so water flows evenly and does not spill over the sides.
• Inspect internal tray: Look for cracks in the plastic tray beneath the evaporator. Replace the tray if damaged.
• Defrost ice blockages: If ice has built up and is diverting water, allow the unit to fully defrost by leaving it unplugged with the lid open for several hours, then dry and restart.
