Ice maker bin is full of ice, but the unit continues to make more ice and may overflow.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before working near moving parts.

• Free the level arm: If equipped, ensure the mechanical arm can move up when the bin is full and is not blocked by ice or bin misalignment.
• Clean optical sensors: Wipe the emitter and receiver lenses with a soft cloth to remove frost or dirt.
• Check wiring: Verify the sensor harness is securely connected to the main PCB.
• Replace sensor: If the sensor does not change state when the bin is full, replace the ice level sensor assembly.
