How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before removing the control panel.
- Dry the display area: Wipe the front and check for condensation inside the panel. Allow time to dry if moisture is present.
- Reseat connectors: Remove the front panel and reseat the ribbon cable and any connectors between the display and main PCB.
- Inspect for damage: Look for burnt components or corrosion on the display board.
- Replace UI/display board: If the display remains dim or flickers after reseating, replace the user interface/display module.
