Ice maker interior light does not turn on when the door or lid is opened.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before working on the light or switch.

• Check door switch: Test the switch for continuity when pressed and released. Replace if it does not change state.
• Inspect light module: Remove the light cover and check for visible damage or discoloration of the LED/bulb.
• Test voltage: A qualified person can measure voltage at the light connector when the door is open. If voltage is present but the light is off, replace the light module.
• Replace driver/PCB: If no voltage is present and the switch is good, the control board's light driver may be faulty and require replacement.
