Safety first: Unplug the unit before tightening or adjusting any components.

Level the appliance: Use a spirit level and adjust the feet so the ice maker sits firmly on the floor without rocking.
Check panels and tubing: Tighten any loose screws on side and rear panels. Gently bend refrigerant tubes away from vibrating surfaces.
Inspect fans: Spin the condenser and evaporator fans by hand. Replace any fan motor that feels rough or makes grinding noises.
Check pumps: Listen near the water and drain pumps. If noise coincides with pump operation, inspect for debris in the impeller and clean or replace the pump.
Compressor mounts: Ensure rubber grommets under the compressor are intact and not hardened or missing.
