Ice maker runs but makes no ice; evaporator plate gets cold but water does not flow over it.

Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water supply valve before servicing water components.

• Check reservoir level: Ensure the internal tank is filled to the correct mark.
• Clean inlet filter: Remove and rinse the mesh filter at the water inlet valve to restore flow.
• Inspect distribution tube: Open the ice compartment and check the water spray bar or distribution tube for scale or debris. Clean with a soft brush and descaling solution.
• Bleed air: After reassembly, fill the reservoir and tilt the unit slightly to help remove trapped air from the pump.
• Replace pump if needed: If the pump hums but does not move water, or is silent and tests open-circuit, replace the water circulation pump.
