Control panel buttons unresponsive, display on but no functions can be selected

Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.

Steps to check:

• Disable lock: Check the user manual for a control lock or child lock feature and follow the steps to unlock.
• Dry panel: If the panel is damp from cleaning or condensation, allow it to dry completely.
• Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the fascia and reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and main control.
• Replace UI board: If only some buttons fail or the panel remains unresponsive, replace the Grundig user interface board.
