Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing rear panels or touching the fan assembly.

Steps to check:

Visual inspection: Remove the rear lower panel and locate the condenser fan near the compressor. Check for dust buildup, cable ties, or insulation blocking the blades.
Spin test: Gently spin the fan blade by hand. It should rotate freely. If stiff or stuck, clean the shaft area and remove any obstruction. If still tight, the motor is likely failing.
Check wiring: Ensure the fan motor connector is firmly seated on the harness and the wires are not damaged.
Power test: With caution and only if you are qualified, power the unit and observe whether the fan receives voltage during compressor operation. If voltage is present but the fan does not run, replace the condenser fan motor.

Note: Operating the ice maker without a working condenser fan can quickly damage the compressor; do not bypass this fault.
