Inspect ribbon cable: Check the flat ribbon or harness connecting the display to the main board. Reseat both ends and ensure there are no kinks or cuts.
Look for corrosion: Moisture can corrode connectors. Clean lightly with contact cleaner and a soft brush if needed.
Board substitution: If wiring is intact but the error persists, replace the user interface board first. If that does not resolve the issue, the main control board may also require replacement.
