Ice maker is very noisy during operation, rattling or buzzing sounds

Safety first: Unplug the unit before tightening screws or touching moving parts.

Steps to check:

• Level the unit: Use a spirit level to ensure the ice maker is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust the feet as needed.
• Tighten panels: Check all exterior panels and internal brackets for loose screws. Tighten to reduce rattles.
• Inspect fan: Remove the rear panel and look for fan blades hitting wires or insulation. Reposition any obstructions and replace a wobbling fan motor.
• Check compressor mounts: Ensure the rubber grommets under the compressor are intact. Replace if hardened or cracked to reduce vibration transfer.
