Improve ventilation: Move the ice maker away from heat sources and ensure recommended clearances around the cabinet.
Clean condenser: Remove dust and lint from the rear condenser coil with a brush or vacuum to improve heat rejection.
Descale evaporator: Run a full cleaning/descaling cycle using a Grundig-approved cleaner to remove mineral deposits from the evaporator plate.
Check water flow: Inspect the inlet hose and valve for restrictions. Clean the inlet screen and verify strong flow into the reservoir.

If production remains low after these steps, a weak compressor or sealed system issue may be present and requires professional service.
