Possible Causes

Failed circulation pump motor, Blocked pump impeller, Clogged water filter or inlet screen, Loose wiring to pump

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power and drain water from the reservoir before removing the pump.

  • Access the water reservoir: Remove the front or top cover to expose the water tank and pump assembly.
  • Check water level: Ensure the reservoir is filled to the correct level and that the float switch (if present) moves freely.
  • Inspect pump inlet: Remove any screens or filters at the pump inlet and clean out scale, slime, or debris.
  • Test the pump: With the unit briefly powered (use caution), listen for the pump running. If it hums but no water flows, the impeller may be jammed. Unplug, remove the pump, and inspect/clean the impeller housing.
  • Check wiring: Verify the pump connector is firmly attached to the harness and there are no broken wires.
  • Replace pump: If the pump is silent, seized, or has burned windings (smell of burnt plastic), replace it with a Hisense-compatible circulation pump assembly.
