Hisense ice maker interior light does not turn on when opening the bin or door.

Safety: Unplug the unit before working on electrical components.

• Check door switch: Press the switch manually and see if the light comes on. Test continuity with a multimeter; replace if faulty.
• Inspect light module: Remove the light cover and check for visible damage or discoloration of the LED/bulb.
• Test voltage: With the unit powered (use caution), measure voltage at the light connector when the door is open. If voltage is present but no light, replace the light module.
• Control board: If no voltage is present and the switch is good, the main PCB light driver may be failed and require replacement.
