• Inspect fan assembly: Remove the rear cover and check that the condenser fan blade is secure on the motor shaft and not hitting the shroud. Tighten or reposition as needed.
• Check compressor mounts: Verify the rubber grommets under the compressor are intact and that mounting bolts are snug but not overtightened.
• Listen for tray motor noise: If grinding occurs during ice release, the tray motor gears may be worn and require replacement.

Persistent loud mechanical noises after these checks indicate a failing motor (fan, tray, or compressor) that should be replaced by a technician.
