Ice maker vibrates excessively or "walks" on the counter

Safety: Unplug before moving the unit.

Steps:

• Level the appliance: Adjust the feet (if adjustable) or place shims under corners to ensure the unit is level front-to-back and side-to-side.
• Stabilize surface: Place the ice maker on a solid, non-flexing surface. Avoid hollow countertops that amplify vibration.
• Check internal mounts: Remove the rear panel and tighten any loose screws on the compressor bracket, fan shroud, and internal frame.
• Inspect compressor grommets: Replace any cracked or flattened rubber mounts under the compressor.

If vibration persists despite leveling and tightening, the compressor may be out of balance and should be evaluated by a technician.
