Unit frequently stops with "add water" indication even when reservoir is full

Safety: Unplug before cleaning the reservoir sensor.

Steps:

• Clean probes/float: Remove the ice basket and clean the water level probes or float with a soft cloth and vinegar-water solution to remove scale or slime.
• Check float movement: If your model uses a float, ensure it moves freely up and down and is not jammed.
• Inspect wiring: Access the sensor wiring from the rear/bottom and ensure the connector is secure.
• Reset: After cleaning, refill the reservoir and restart the unit.

If the problem persists, the water level sensor assembly may be defective and require replacement.
