Ice cubes are too small or hollow

Safety: Turn off water supply and unplug the unit before servicing the water system.

• Check water pressure: Disconnect the supply line and run water into a bucket. Weak flow indicates a plumbing issue that must be corrected.
• Clean inlet screen: Remove and rinse the mesh filter in the Hoover water inlet valve to restore flow.
• Inspect fill tube: Check the fill tube for ice blockage or scale. Flush with warm water to clear.
• Adjust or reset level sensor: If your model allows, run the calibration or reset procedure for the water level sensor as described in the user manual.
