Ice maker is leaking water onto the floor

Safety: Unplug the unit and shut off the water supply immediately.

• Inspect external connections: Check the connection between the household supply line and the Hoover inlet valve. Tighten compression fittings and replace any damaged washers.
• Check internal hoses: Remove panels and inspect all hoses for cracks, splits, or loose clamps. Replace damaged hoses and secure clamps firmly.
• Examine inlet valve: Look for water seeping from the valve body even when off. Replace the valve if it leaks.
• Verify reservoir level control: If the reservoir overflows, inspect and test the water level sensor or float. Replace if it does not shut off fill correctly.
