Unit runs continuously and does not enter standby even when bin is full

Safety: Disconnect power before working near sensors.

• Clean and inspect sensor: For IR sensors, clean both emitter and receiver windows. For mechanical levers, ensure free movement.
• Test sensor function: Use a multimeter to check the sensor or switch changes state when the bin is full/empty. Replace if it does not.
• Check wiring to PCB: Reseat connectors and inspect for damage.
• Control board: If the sensor works but the unit ignores it, the main PCB may need replacement.
