Safety: Disconnect power before working around switches and wiring.

• Locate switch: Identify the bin door or access door switch (often a small plunger or magnetic reed switch near the opening).
• Check alignment: Ensure the door or bin fully closes and properly engages the switch. Adjust hinges or bin position if needed.
• Inspect actuator: Look for broken plastic actuators or magnets that may prevent the switch from changing state.
• Test switch: With a multimeter, check continuity of the switch while pressing and releasing it. Replace if it does not open and close correctly.
• Secure wiring: Reseat the switch connector and secure any loose wires away from moving parts.

After repair, restore power and verify that the E9 code clears and the unit runs with the door closed.
