Ice maker stops making ice even though the bin is not full.

Safety: Disconnect power before cleaning sensors.

• Clean sensor: Wipe the ice level sensor or thermistor area with a soft cloth to remove frost or debris.
• Check bin position: Ensure the bin is fully seated and not pushing against the sensor incorrectly.
• Inspect wiring: Reseat connectors and check for damaged wires.
• Replace sensor: If the sensor continues to falsely indicate full, replace it with an OEM Hotpoint part.
