Step-by-step checks:

• 1. Verify outlet power: Plug a lamp or phone charger into the same outlet to confirm it has power. If dead, reset the breaker or use a different outlet.
• 2. Inspect power cord: Check the Iceman power cord for cuts, burn marks, or kinks. If damaged, replace the power cord assembly rather than taping or splicing it.
• 3. Check power switch: If your model has a rocker or push power switch, toggle it several times. Remove the front or side panel (per user manual) and test the switch for continuity with a multimeter. Replace the power switch if it does not close when turned ON.
• 4. Inspect internal fuse: Many Iceman units have a small glass or ceramic fuse on the main PCB. Remove the access panel, locate the fuse, and visually inspect for a broken filament or discoloration. Test with a meter and replace with the same rating if open.
• 5. Evaluate main PCB: If the fuse is good and power is present at the board input but the display remains dead, the main PCB (control board) is likely faulty. Look for burnt spots or swollen components. Replace the main PCB as a complete assembly following the service manual.
