Ice bin overflows with ice, ice keeps being produced even when bin is full

Safety: Unplug the unit before working near the bin area.

• 1. Inspect mechanical arm (if used): Ensure the bin full arm moves freely and is not jammed by ice. Replace if broken.
• 2. Clean IR sensors: For optical systems, clean the emitter and receiver windows with a soft cloth.
• 3. Check alignment and wiring: Confirm the sensors face each other correctly and that wiring is intact.
• 4. Replace sensor assembly: If the unit continues to make ice with the bin full and sensors are clean and aligned, replace the bin full sensor assembly.
