How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit. Use only food-safe, manufacturer-approved cleaners and sanitizers.
- 1. Discard ice: Empty the ice bin completely and discard all existing ice.
- 2. Deep clean: Remove the bin, reservoir cover, and any removable parts. Wash with warm water and mild detergent, then rinse.
- 3. Descale and sanitize: Run a full cleaning cycle with Iceman-approved ice machine cleaner, followed by a sanitizing rinse per the manual.
- 4. Clean scoop and surroundings: Wash the ice scoop and ensure it is stored outside the bin or in a clean holder. Wipe down surrounding surfaces.
- 5. Maintenance schedule: Implement a regular monthly cleaning schedule, or more often in hard water or commercial use.
