Iceman
Reduced Ice Production / Capacity Loss
Ice maker produces ice, but production is very slow compared to normal

Possible Causes
Dirty condenser coil, High ambient temperature, Low water flow to evaporator, Partial refrigerant loss or restriction
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning coils or accessing internal components.
- 1. Clean condenser: Vacuum and brush the condenser coil thoroughly. This is one of the most common causes of slow ice production.
- 2. Improve environment: Move the unit away from ovens, dishwashers, or direct sunlight. Ensure room temperature is within the recommended range.
- 3. Check water flow: Inspect the water distribution tube or spray bar above the evaporator. Clean any clogged holes and ensure even water coverage.
- 4. Descale system: Run a complete descaling cycle to remove mineral buildup from the evaporator and water circuit.
- 5. Monitor frost pattern: If production remains low and the evaporator shows an uneven frost pattern, a sealed system issue may exist and requires a professional technician.
