Water is pooling inside the ice bin or around the evaporator area

Safety: Unplug the ice maker before clearing drains.

• 1. Clear ice and debris: Remove ice from around the drain opening in the bin or sump. Use warm water to melt any ice plugs.
• 2. Flush drain line: Disconnect the drain hose and run warm water through it to clear blockages. Ensure the hose slopes downward continuously to the drain.
• 3. Check drain pump (if equipped): Verify the pump runs and discharges water. If it hums but does not move water, inspect for obstructions or replace the pump.
• 4. Verify drain trap: Ensure the building drain is not blocked and that any external trap is clear.
