Loud knocking or banging noise when ice drops into the bin

Safety first: Unplug the unit before adjusting bin or harvest components.

• Stabilize ice bin: Ensure the bin is fully seated in its rails and not loose. Replace worn bin slides or pads.
• Add cushioning: Some models use rubber bumpers where the bin contacts the cabinet. Replace missing bumpers or add thin foam pads.
• Check harvest arm alignment: Inspect the sweep arm or ejector fingers to ensure they push ice cleanly into the bin without striking the bin walls.
• Do not overfill: If the bin is overfull, ice may hit the underside of the top panel. Adjust ice level or bin position.
