Possible Causes
Partially floating low-water float, Scale buildup changing buoyancy, Mispositioned float magnet, Weak reed switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before working in the reservoir.
- Clean float assembly: Remove the float (if detachable) and clean it thoroughly with warm soapy water, then rinse. Remove any scale or slime.
- Inspect magnet and switch: Ensure the magnet is firmly attached and aligned with the reed switch or sensor below.
- Fill slightly higher: Keep the water level closer to the MAX line (without exceeding it) to reduce nuisance low-water triggers.
- Replace float/sensor: If the problem persists, replace the low water float switch assembly.
