Possible Causes
Loose or damaged drain plug gasket, Cracked reservoir, Disconnected internal hose, Overfilled reservoir due to user error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and mop up any spilled water to prevent slipping.
- Check drain plug: Inspect the rear or bottom drain plug and gasket. Ensure it is fully inserted and tightened. Replace the gasket if cracked or hardened.
- Inspect reservoir: Remove the ice basket and visually inspect the reservoir for cracks or seams that leak when filled.
- Check internal hoses: Remove the rear or side panel and look for any disconnected or cracked silicone hoses between the reservoir, pump, and evaporator.
- Do not overfill: Only fill to the MAX line. Overfilling can cause water to spill over internal walls.
- Replace damaged parts: Replace any cracked reservoir or leaking hose with Kismile-compatible components.
