Possible Causes
Unit not leveled, loose leveling legs, cabinet not secured to surrounding cabinetry, uneven floor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Use caution when moving or tilting the unit; avoid tipping more than recommended.
- Level the unit: Use a bubble level on top of the ice maker. Adjust the front and rear leveling legs until the unit is level side-to-side and front-to-back.
- Secure to cabinetry: If the installation kit includes brackets, ensure the KitchenAid ice maker is properly fastened to adjacent cabinets.
- Add padding: Place thin foam or rubber pads between the unit and cabinets to reduce rattling.
- Recheck after operation: Run the unit and confirm vibration is reduced.
