Possible Causes

Empty water reservoir, Stuck or scaled water level float, Faulty water level sensor wiring

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before cleaning inside the reservoir.

  • Refill reservoir: Open the lid and fill the water tank to the MAX line with clean drinking water. Do not exceed the mark.
  • Clean float/sensor: Locate the float or sensor probes in the reservoir. Remove mineral deposits with a soft cloth and a mild vinegar solution, then rinse thoroughly.
  • Check for obstructions: Ensure nothing (like ice fragments or packaging) is blocking the float from moving freely.
  • Reset: Plug the unit back in and restart. The LO warning should clear once the sensor detects proper water level.

If LO remains with a full tank and clean sensor, the water level sensor assembly may need replacement.
