Safety first: Unplug the Klarstein ice maker and drain the reservoir before servicing the pump.

Clean inlet screen: Remove and rinse the pump's inlet filter to clear debris and scale.
Inspect hoses: Check internal silicone hoses for kinks, pinches, or blockages. Straighten or replace as needed.
Descale channels: Run a descaling solution through the system to dissolve mineral buildup in the water distribution tray and channels.
Replace pump: If the pump is noisy and flow remains weak after cleaning, replace the water circulation pump.

Good water circulation is essential for proper ice formation and even cube size.

Water pump runs loudly but little or no water flows over the evaporator.
