- Inspect control board: Remove the access panel to view the main PCB. Look for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or corrosion.
- Replace control board: If E14 persists, replace the Koldfront-compatible main control board. Transfer any wiring harnesses one by one to the new board to avoid miswiring.
- Test: Restore power and verify that the display and functions operate normally without E14.
