Steps to resolve E7:

• Access fan: Remove the rear panel to expose the condenser fan assembly near the compressor and condenser coil.
• Check for obstructions: Inspect the fan blades for dust buildup, plastic wrap, or debris preventing rotation. Remove any obstructions.
• Spin test: Gently spin the fan by hand. If it feels stiff or does not spin freely, the motor bearings may be seized.
• Inspect wiring: Check the fan motor wiring harness and connector for damage or loose connections. Reseat the connector on the control board if accessible.
• Test motor: With the unit unplugged, measure motor winding resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
• Replace fan motor: Remove mounting screws, disconnect wiring, and install a new Koldfront-compatible condenser fan motor. Ensure blades are correctly oriented and clear of all surfaces.
• Reassemble and test: Reinstall the rear panel, restore power, and verify the fan runs whenever the compressor is operating.
