Safety: Turn off power at the breaker or unplug the unit before working.

• Remove ice bin: Pull out the ice bin to access the ice maker and sensor area.
• Dry and inspect: Look for condensation or water around the sensor and connectors. Dry thoroughly with a towel and allow the area to air dry.
• Reconnect harness: Disconnect and reconnect the ice maker/sensor harness to ensure a solid connection. Check for bent pins.
• Check for damage: If the sensor housing is cracked or corroded, replace the ice maker assembly or sensor module as applicable.
• Power cycle: Restore power and monitor. If IS E reappears, the sensor or main PCB may be defective. Replace the ice maker/sensor first; if the issue persists, have the control board evaluated by a technician.
