• Inspect ice bin: Remove and discard large slabs of ice. Clean the bin thoroughly.
• Check for valve leak: With the ice maker idle, observe the fill tube for dripping. Any drip indicates a leaking inlet valve that must be replaced.
• Verify level: Ensure the refrigerator is level front-to-back and side-to-side so water distributes evenly in the mold.
• Replace ice maker: If overfilling occurs only during active fills and the valve is good, replace the ice maker assembly, as its internal timing or sensor may be faulty.
