How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the ice maker and discard all ice before cleaning.
- Remove and wash bin: Clean the ice bin with warm water and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Clean surrounding surfaces: Wipe the ice maker housing and nearby surfaces with a food-safe sanitizer or a solution of 1 tablespoon of bleach in 4 liters of water. Do not get liquid into electrical components.
- Replace filter: Install a new Liebherr water filter to reduce microbial load.
- Resume operation: Turn the ice maker back on and discard the first 2–3 batches of ice.
