Safety first: Immediately unplug the appliance and close the water supply valve if you see active leaking.

• Remove ice bin: Take out the bin and inspect the area under and around the ice maker for water trails or ice sheets.
• Inspect fill tube: Check the plastic or copper tube that delivers water to the ice maker for cracks, splits, or loose connections. Tighten fittings and replace damaged tubing.
• Check valve and fittings: At the back of the appliance, inspect the water inlet valve and connections for signs of dripping or mineral deposits.
• Clear ice obstructions: If ice has built up around the fill area, defrost it using warm water and ensure the fill path is clear.
• Test for leaks: Restore water and power, then observe a full cycle. Any continued leaking from the valve or tubing requires replacement of the faulty component.
