Liebherr ice maker makes ice but cubes are very small or hollow

Safety first: Turn off water supply and unplug the appliance before disconnecting any water fittings.

• Replace water filter: Install a new Liebherr filter if it is near or past its service life.
• Inspect water line: Check for kinks or crushed sections in the supply line. Replace if damaged.
• Clean inlet screen: Disconnect the line at the inlet valve and rinse the small mesh screen to remove sediment.
• Check pressure: Ensure household water pressure is adequate. If not, have a plumber correct the issue.
• Monitor new cubes: After adjustments, discard the next 1–2 batches of ice and check if cube size normalizes. If not, the inlet valve may be weak and require replacement.
