Liebherr ice maker produces ice very slowly; ice bin never fills up

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before cleaning coils or moving the unit.

• Check temperature setting: Ensure the freezer is set to around -18°C. Colder settings generally increase ice production up to a point.
• Clean condenser: Pull the appliance away from the wall and clean the condenser coils with a soft brush or vacuum. Improved airflow increases cooling efficiency.
• Replace water filter: If the filter is older than 6–12 months, replace it with a genuine Liebherr filter to restore flow.
• Verify water pressure: Confirm adequate water pressure at the supply. If other fixtures are weak, consult a plumber.
• Allow time: After corrections, allow 24–48 hours for the ice bin to fill. If production remains low, the ice maker or refrigeration system may need professional evaluation.
