How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before removing the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If condensation or spills occurred, allow the panel to dry completely.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the front bezel and carefully disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the keypad and main board.
- Inspect for damage: Look for corrosion or cracks on the control PCB. If present, replace the user interface assembly.
- Test operation: After reassembly, plug in and test each button. Replace the keypad if unresponsive.
