Ice cubes are too small, thin, or hollow.

Safety first: Disconnect power and close water supply before removing water components.

Steps:

• Check water pressure and filter: Ensure the supply valve is fully open and replace the water filter. Low pressure reduces cube size.
• Clean distribution tube: Remove the water distribution tube and clear all holes of scale and debris using ice machine cleaner and a small brush.
• Adjust thickness probe: Slightly increase the ice thickness setting per the Manitowoc service manual so the sheet grows thicker before harvest.
• Verify fill level: Confirm the water trough fills to the correct level and does not shut off prematurely. If low, inspect the water level probe and inlet valve.
