• Check alignment: For IR or ultrasonic sensors, verify emitter and receiver alignment. For mechanical switches, ensure the actuator moves freely.
• Test function: With power on, manually actuate the bin switch (if accessible) and confirm the unit responds by stopping ice production.
• Replace faulty parts: If the sensor does not change state or the control ignores it, replace the bin level probe/switch or main control board as needed.
