  • Use a multimeter to test the switch for continuity while pressing and releasing it. Replace the switch if it does not change state properly.
  • Check the wiring harness from the switch to the control board for pinched or broken wires.
  • Install a new Marvel door switch or sensor if needed, ensuring proper alignment with the door.
  • Restore power and confirm that the interior light and ice maker respond correctly to door open/close and that E13 clears.
